Top 3 Favorite Healthy Homemade Energy Drinks

Follow these 4 steps to make this special Tropical Electrolyte Energy Drink:

 

1. Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan. Add hibiscus flowers and orange peel. Remove from heat, COVER with a lid and let steep for 1 hour. Strain and allow to cool to at least room temperature {I place it in the refrigerator or in the freezer for about 15 minutes to chill it fast}.

2. In a large pitcher, large glass measuring cup or mixing bowl, add the raw honey, fresh orange juice and salt. Stir until the honey has dissolved.

3. Add cold hibiscus tea and cold coconut water to the orange-honey-salt mixture. Stir until all ingredients are incorporated.

4. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
