Coffee in the morning is how half of the adults in the U.S. wake up and get started every day. This habit isn’t all that bad since drinking coffee appears to lower the risk for diabetes, depression and some cancers.

Taking a bite of this energizing fruit is a delicious way to jolt your body into gear. Apples contain natural sugars and other carbohydrates that can help stabilize your blood sugar. Other fruits, like bananas and oranges, will do the same. Pair a fruit with a protein, like a serving of Greek yogurt, for sustained satiety.

It is very obvious that you don’t live in rural Alberta especially during the winter! It’s dark when I get up & dark when I get home from work and it’s freezing cold outside. This sounds great for summer though.
