David shows how to make yummy “Home Made Nutella” sandwich spread in this recipe. This is good for a smile on every face.
He uses the following ingredients:
- 250 grams Roasted Hazelnuts (skins removed)
- 1/4 Cup of Cocoa Powder
- 1/2 Cup of Caster Sugar (Super Fine White Sugar)
- 1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract / Essence
- 1/4 Cup of Vegetable Oil
This only takes about 5 minutes to mix together, making 1 jarful.

Looks good, I think the real stuff has some skim milk powder in it as well that turns it into more of a milky chocolate instead his looks a little darker. But it’s nice to know you can make it with a healthier fat than palm oil which is what most commercial hazelnut spreads are made with.

Could I substitute the veg oil for coconut oil?
