“Decadent” — but healthy — oatmeal recipes! The key is to make these special oatmeal treats in advance so the oatmeal can soak up the flavor overnight and be ready for eating first thing in the morning. This strategy gets you to eat a healthy breakfast, even if you’re in a hurry to get out the door in there morning. These creative overnight oatmeal suggestions call for ingredients such as Greek yoghurt, pecans, blueberries, lemon, almond milk, vanilla extract, strawberries, honey, chocolate, cocoa powder, cherries, bananas, walnut butter, spices, pineapple, coconut and more!
Watch Sara Lynn makes all of this in the video, then check out the recipes:

I am trying this tomorrow! My question is, how long can they stay in the fridge? I would like to make more than 1 at a time, but wasn’t sure how good it would stay for more than a day?
I usually will make about 4 each time, no more than that 🙂
Magda Mallery for your oatmeal loving self

Danielle Cupp Ian MK maybe this would be good.
I do this all the time. I’m in the military as a medic and don’t always have time to get breakfast, especially when I’m doing medical coverage. I’m also a breastfeeding mother, so this helps my supply and gives me something nutritious to eat on the go.
Ooooooh!!!

Thanks
I need to try this. Last few weeks have been crazy… This would be a great time saver. Thanks!!!
No the oats are not cooked. When you put them with the milk and yogurt it plumps them up. You can heat it in the morning if you want to. I use steel cut oats instead of normal oats. And eat them right out of the jar with a spoon. Stir if you want to. I actually use BPA free plastic containers instead of jars.
Please proofread.
Kaila Barnett we gotta make these!
I think Sara Bruielly Meyer made this and hated it?
Oh darn! Lol good to know!
Michele, might be yummier than our eggs and oats.
Depending on the ripness of your fruit they will last 4-5 days in the fridge. It is important to shake them up after you add teh oats, milk, and yogurt and chia seeds. Then add the toppings. Other wise the oates don’t soak up everything well and it it isn’t as smooth.
Bad$#%&!@* man
Kristin O’Neal this seems doable!
Yeah, i didn’t care for it. But maybe it was the kind or i didn’t do something right…the texture was hard to get past.
Cesar Hawas recipes! 🙂
No, you’d have to precook, as they’re too hard. You eat these meals cold. You’re best to use rolled oats as they’re soft.
Thought you’d like this Sarah Anawalt
Luke, I actually love making these things 🙂 I even figured out how to do it will steel cut oats that could be reheated during the winter. Yummm

Dis is why I go out at night living it up because you are crazy baby absolutely crazy. And thats okay because you will just go more crazy until you eventually die from insanity.
I told u long ago to stop name calling and I only use words that you use against me to prove point. Like I said Im different in person and I can be a gentleman. That is what I deserve a chance to prove myself. But you just have stubborn control issues that I cant deal with.
Djerick Alain Catacutan Charina M. Alug
Katie Cox Jessica Heath I don’t eat oatmeal or yogurt…but dang this looks good!!
So if you are use bpa free containers what did they use in place of the bpa
Well at this point t it doesn’t matter. I am so not worried about it. I personally think Americans are super paranoid. Our grandparents have lived into their 80’s and 90’s on totally unregulated food, chemicals and they smoked. I think I will live.
Mom.. Maybe we should change our beliefs C$#%&!@*ady Wright!

Chop up an apple, an orange, a banana. Put them in a bowl with a vanilla yogurt cup, a splash of orange juice and a cup of oatmeal. Stir and cover the bowl. Then put in the refrigerator overnight. In the morning you have what my sons used to call “barf”. It’s a good healthy breakfast.

Love it. New recipes. I’ve subscribed to her channel lady month and still completely thrilled.
What size jars are required, pint or 1/2 pint?
Old fashioned oats. I heard quick cook oats comes out gluey. I like to use steel cut oats and microwave it for 3-4 min then put the lid on my mason jar and put it in the fridge for in the morning. But I only cook steel cut oats not the old fashion oats.
