[Video] Perfect Any Time of the Day: Homemade CHERRY DRIZZLE ENERGY BARS!


Kristina shows how to make Raw Vegan Energy Bars with a Cherry Drizzle Glaze in this video. Follow this recipe to ensure that they are low-fat, nut free, and oil-free. If you want extra protein, however, you may want to add some crushed nuts!


Energy bar snacks are perfect to bring with you to work, school, sport events and when you’re traveling. Unprocessed and freshly made … only pure energy here.


Here are the ingredients for the Energy Bars:

1-2 cups dried mulberries

2 cups dried figs

2 cups pitted dates

1-2 tsp. of freshly ground cinnamon

Then, to make the special Cherry Drizzle, you’ll need the following ingredients:

2 cups pitted cherries

1 cup pitted dates

Optional: half cup of fresh coconut water



Here are the preparation instructions to make these yummy Raw Vegan Energy Bars and the Cherry Drizzle Glaze:

  1. Place all ingredients in the food processor and pulse until the mixture reaches a cookie dough consistency.

  2. Take out the mixture, and press it into a pyrex or glass pan to form it.

  3. When ready, remove it from the pyrex and slice into bar chunks to make your energy bars.

  4. You can serve them just like this (ooey guey), or you can chill them in the fridge for anywhere from 30 minutes to 3-4 hours to harden them.



Next, for the Cherry Drizzle:

  1. Blend both ingredients until smooth!

  2. Drizzle or spread on top of the energy bars!

  3. Pack, serve, and enjoy!
