Easy-to-Make Sunbutter Banana + Chia Seeds on Toast



This Sunbutter Banana with Chia Seeds on Toast superfood twist is great for breakfast, a light lunch or a quick snack. It’s packed with vitamins and minerals from the sunbutter, banana and chia seeds that work well together to fill you up and keep your stomach full and your mind fueled.

It’s really rather filling. Once those chia seeds go to work and start expanding, you’ll get that wonderful boost of energy and a perfectly satisfied tummy.

Sunbutter looks and tastes much like peanut butter, but instead of peanuts, it’s made from sunflower seeds. Sunflower butter is 30% lower in fat than peanut butter, chock full of vitamin E.

Here are the ingredients to make this special Sunbutter Banana with Chia Seeds on Toast treat (1 serving):

1 Slice 100% Whole Wheat Bread (I used one that was 50 cal. per slice.)
1 Tbsp. Sunbutter
1/2 Medium Banana, Sliced
1/2 Tsp. Chia Seeds< You can also top it with a small drizzle of raw honey if desired to add a touch of sweetness.



3 easy preparation steps:

1. Toast the bread and spread the sunbutter over the top.

2. Place banana slices over the sun butter and top it off with chia seeds.

3. Serve right away and enjoy!
