Yovana (aka “Rawvana”) shows how to make a healthy “no-cook” vegan version of her favorite Oreo Cookies with low-calorie ingredients. Even though these ingredients are different — and a lot healthier — these Oreo Cookies are just as delicious as the store-bought variety. Be sure to make enough, since they tend to disappear as soon as you make them!
The ingredients you’ll need for the basic cookies are:
2 cups dried mulberries
30 soaked dates
2 tablespoons raw carob powder
vanilla bean (small strip)
Then for the cream “frosting” in the middle:
Meat from 1-2 young thai coconut
2 tablespoons shredded dried coconut
The easy preparation steps, along with Yovana’s “how to” video and handy tips, are on the next page …
