[Video] Enjoy Making This OMELET, and More BREAKFAST FUN with Kids!



Here are the steps to follow if you want to have fun making an omelette for breakfast, brunch or lunch:

1. Gather all your ingredients. Each step cooks fast, so you’ll want to have everything readily available. It’s all about the mise en place!


2. Add a little bit of oil to the pan and make sure it’s hot. Start with the vegetables that take the longest to cook first. Jalapeño and onion here.


3. And then add the tomatoes and baby spinach leaves. Mushrooms would be good too, but I didn’t have any. Basically, use whatever ingredients you fancy!


4. While the vegetables are cooking, whisk the eggs in a bowl.


5. Cook the vegetables down to how tender you like it. Then spread it out flat on the pan to a circle shape.


6. Add the whisked eggs into the pan so it covers the vegetables. And then add the chopped green onions. Salt and pepper to taste here.


7. When the bottom of the omelette is cooked, flip it over so the top side gets cooked. Then flip it over once more. Then sprinkle the cheese on top.


8. Once the cheese starts to melt a little bit, fold the omelette in half. The cheese will continue to melt. And that’s my rustic homemade omelette!


9. Serve with a side of avocado, salsa, or whatever you like.
