Start by mixing the dry ingredients to make these delicious Homemade Protein Bars:
Chuck the protein powder, oats, ground almonds, sugar and sea salt into a large bowl.
Chop the pecan nuts and pumpkin seeds roughly and add them to the bowl with the sesame seeds.
Next, add the wet ingredients and follow these steps:
- Combine the milk, coconut oil, vanilla extract and peanut butter and pour them into the dry ingredients. Mix to a malleable dough.
- Squish the dough into a square silicon mould.
- Break the chocolate into a microwavable bowl and melt in the microwave or over boiling water on the hob.
- Drizzle the chocolate over the protein bar in the mould and place into the fridge to set.
- Cut to size, we recommend 8/10 bars, and grab a bar whenever you need one on the go!
