Quick-and-Easy Morning WAKE-UP SMOOTHIE



Here are some Notes and Highlights that are useful to know about this Early Morning Wake-Up Smoothie:

  • Cinnamon is a great thing to have first thing in the morning.  It helps regulate your blood sugar levels and increases your metabolism.

  • Almond butter is packed with protein, omega–3 fatty acids and biotin (great for your hair and nails).

  • Peanut butter has even more protein, fiber and lots of studies have shown that it can lower your risk of coronary heart disease.

  • Bananas have fiber and loads of potassium that aid in lower blood pressure and bone health.

  • If you want even more protein you could add a scoop of whey protein powder or for some added fiber at times I’ll add a tbsp. of oat bran (which adds even more texture).
