Quick-and-Easy Morning WAKE-UP SMOOTHIE



This delicious Early Morning Wake-Up Smoothie is packed with healthy goodness: almond milk, peanut butter, cinnamon and a frozen banana. You can always add and substitute to include different flavors and adjust the creaminess.


For a single serving you’ll need to dump the following ingredients into a blender:

about 8 ice cubes

1/2 frozen banana (I like to freeze them in 1” chunks)

1  1/2  cups unsweetened almond milk

1 tbsp. all natural peanut butter

1/2 tbsp. all natural almond butter

a sprinkle of cinnamon

Blending tips:

If you have an ice crusher setting use that first to help break up the ice and frozen banana.  I pulse it on ice crusher for about 10 seconds.  Then I let it whirl on high for about another 10 seconds.  (Obviously times will vary based on your blender).
