Chia seeds are widely recognized as a super-food that should definitely be included in a healthy diet. Chia seeds were originally an important staple food for Aztec and Mayan warriors, and are now recognized worldwide as one of those super-foods to include in your diet. Here’s a video showing 3 delicious and healthy recipes with chia seeds that you should try.


For the first two recipes you can mix everything up in a mason jar, shake and let sit overnight to thicken up. Then in the morning: shake well and enjoy with some fruit.


The ingredients you’ll need for these recipes are:

(1) for the Blueberry Chia Energizer Smoothie:
-1 cup frozen blueberries
-1 scoop vanilla protein powder
-1 cup unsweetened almond milk
-1 tbsp. chia seeds

(2) for the Vegan Chia Pudding:
-1 cup unsweetened almond milk
-1/4 cup. whole chia seeds
-1 tbsp. maple syrup
-1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
