Here’s how Gina makes a perfect thirst-quenching Strawberry-Infused Sports Drink in the evening, so it’s ready for early morning exercises and a boost energy for other morning activities. Other healthy berries can also be substituted for the strawberries in this refreshing beverage. They’re added in the evening to steep and chill overnight for best results.
The basic ingredients are as follows:
3 C hot water
1/2 C orange juice
juice of 1 lemon
2 T honey + stevia to taste
1/4 t salt
1/2 container of strawberries (or any berry of choice), sliced
Preparing this Strawberry-Infused Sports Drink couldn’t be easier:
1. Mix well and chill in the fridge overnight.
2. Strain to remove the berries, or enjoy them as a little snack with your drink
