Here’s the Recipe for My Favorite ORANGE & YOGURT BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE!



It’s easy to get addicted to starting the day with a nutritious smoothie with fresh or frozen fruit, a handful of ice, Greek yogurt and nonfat milk. Assuming that you’ve stocked-up on the basic ingredients (see the list, below), then just grab your blender, a tall glass to fill and enjoy!

Here’s a delicious smoothie that’s healthy enough to be breakfast and sweet enough to be an afternoon snack. Oranges are loaded with vitamin C and the yogurt adds some protein and a substantial amount of calcium.

Ingredients:

  • One orange, peeled and separated into pieces
  • 1/2 cup nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup nonfat milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup ice

Nutrition Highlights:

239 calories, 18 grams protein, 44 grams carbohydrates, 3 grams fiber, 1 gram fat
