Have a Healthy DESSERT for BREAKFAST … Here’s the Best Recipe!



Try this yummy glazed pear recipe for breakfast, or just save them for dessert. Half of the enjoyment is that they smell simply wonderful while cooking, too!


This is really a simple recipe: freshly baked pears with cinnamon, sweet honey and crunchy walnuts. And it’s all healthy and good for you.
This also goes well with yogurt or a smoothie for breakfast.


Here are the basic ingredients for 4 servings:

Baked Pears with Walnuts and Honey

  • 2 large ripe pears
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1/4 cup crushed walnuts
  • (optional) yogurt or frozen yogurt



Here is what you need to do now to make these baked pears with walnuts and honey:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Cut the pears in half and place on a baking sheet (I cut a sliver off the other end so they sat upright). Using a measuring spoon or melon baller, scoop out the seeds.

  2. Sprinkle with cinnamon, top with walnuts and drizzle 1/2 teaspoon honey over each one.

  3. Bake in the oven 30 minutes.

  4. Remove, let cool and enjoy!
