Here are the ingredients you’ll need to mix up a jar of Cinnamon Chocolate Overnight Oats with Chia:
½ cup old-fashioned rolled oats
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp cocoa nibs (optional)
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp cinnamon more or less to taste
1 tbsp 100% pure maple syrup
2-3 tbsp sliced almonds
3 tbsp Greek Yogurt, Plain
¾ cup milk of your choice
pinch of salt
additional sliced almonds, cocoa nibs, coconut shavings, or even a drizzle of maple syrup for toppings based on your preference
Now just follow these preparation steps:
1. Put all the ingredients into a container with a lid, like a Mason or Ball jar.
2. Close the lid and shake until all the ingredients are well mixed and uniform.
3. Put the container in the fridge overnight.
4. In the morning, open, stir and enjoy breakfast.
Optional: Microwave for 2 minutes and stir. Then add your favorite toppings and serve!
