Here is another one of my favorite “overnight oatmeal” recipes that only takes about 5 minutes to make in the evening before heading for bed. When you get up in the morning, it’s ready to eat so you’ll have a delicious and nutritious breakfast.
The basic ingredients for the basic overnight oatmeal are:
- 1/3 cup rolled oats
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup almond milk (soy, hemp, rice or dairy work, too)
Then add these extra ingredients for this special Chocolate Strawberry version:
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp chocolate, shavings
- 1/4 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced
