Overnight Oats and Carrots (Video)



As soon as you get up in the morning, this Overnight Oatmeal breakfast will be ready to eat and enjoy. This delicious and nutritious breakfast only takes 5 minutes to make in the evening before heading for bed.


The basic ingredients for overnight oatmeal are:

  • 1/3 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup almond milk (soy, hemp, rice or dairy work, too)

Then add these extra ingredients for a special Carrot Cake version:

  • ¼ cup shredded carrot
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp pecan, chopped (optional)
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
