This Creamy Chocolate Smoothie can be a rich and thick treat for breakfast or any other time of day. It’s a healthy and nutritious way to get a boost of protein and energy with a delicious chocolate flavor! No added fat and sugar and, of course, easy to customize for any healthy meal or snack.


The serious chocolate punch will make you think that it’s a decadent chocolate milkshake since the flavor completely overshadows the banana in this recipe. Make it in less than 5 minutes!



Here are the recommended ingredients for this Creamy Chocolate Smoothie:

3/4 cup vanilla almond milk (or regular milk)
1 small/medium banana, frozen
2 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
dash of cinnamon
1 tsp. instant coffee granules (optional)
2 Tbsp. chocolate or vanilla protein powder (optional)
1 Tbsp. nut butter (optional)

Tip: Freeze the milk in an ice cube tray, first, if you want to make your smoothie even thicker.

Place all ingredients into any standard blender and blend until smooth.
