Creamy Peach Pie Smoothie with Pecans

When you’re busy in the morning and want something fast, healthy and delicious … then here’s a perfect Peach Pie Smoothie with Pecans for a creamy, satisfying breakfast treat in less than 5 minutes.

This smoothie kind of tastes like peach pie with the addition of the cinnamon, pecans, and maple syrup. If you can’t abide oatmeal in your smoothie, leave it out. I add it in for iron and fiber and for a little extra texture … A simple, fruity smoothie to kick off your morning.

Here are the ingredients you’ll need to make 2 servings:

1 whole fresh or frozen peach (about 1½ cups frozen peaches)
1 banana, fresh or frozen
5 large ice cubes
½ cup gluten-free old fashioned oats
1 cup water, fruit juice, or your choice of dairy or non-dairy milk
¼ cup pecans
1 Tbsp. chia seeds
¼ or more tsp. ground cinnamon
¼ tsp. vanilla extract
agave or maple syrup, to taste

The preparation instructions are simple:

Puree all ingredients until smooth.
