Healthy Homemade Frozen Yogurt (Video)



Another popular flavor is Chocolate & Banana Frozen Yogurt with the following ingredients for 4 servings:

2 frozen medium (2 cups/10oz/280g) banana frozen

2 Tablespoons honey or agave nectar

1⁄4 cup (2oz/60g) plain yogurt (greek, non-fat or full fat)

1⁄3 cup (1 1⁄2 oz/ 40g) cocoa powder

2 tsp Vanilla extract

Here are the easy preparation steps:

  1. Add the frozen bananas, honey (or agave nectar), yogurt, cocoa powder and vanilla extract into a food processor (or liquidizer).

  2. Process until creamy, about 2-3 minutes. Scrape down the side of the bowl to make sure there are no lumps left.

  3. Transfer it to an airtight freezable container and freeze for a minimum 6 hours but preferably overnight.

  4. Store it in the freezer for up to 1 month.

Note that fresh bananas can be used in place of frozen, however the bananas must be frozen solid.
