Try This Nutritious TROPICAL SMOOTHIE for Extra Energy!



It’s easy to get addicted to starting the day with a nutritious smoothie with fresh and frozen fruit, a handful of ice, and healthy coconut milk. Assuming that you’ve stocked-up on the basic ingredients (see the list, below), then just grab your blender, a tall glass to fill and enjoy!


Here’s a healthy Tropical Smoothie recipe from Shereen:

This smoothie is just loaded with vitamins and minerals. You’ll get a whole day’s worth of vitamin C in just one smoothie – plus lots of calcium, magnesium, folate and vitamin A.


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger (or even better – use a little chunk of fresh ginger)
  • 1/2 cup ice


Nutrition Highlights:

268 calories, 18 grams protein, 51 grams carbohydrates, 5 grams fiber, 5 grams fat
