Lindsay shows how to make a delicious and easy breakfast the night before! Yummy French Toast!<br />
</br><br />
This is one of Lindsay&#8217;s breakfast recipes, especially when she&#8217;s having friends over early next morning. This way she doesn&#8217;t need to get up too early to make herself presentable.<br />
</br><br />
It&#8217;s easy to customize with different fruits or sauces and use a big loaf of french bread, or any other bread for this recipe:<br />
</br></p>
<blockquote><p>1. Cut your bread into one-inch-thick slices.<br />
</br><br />
2. Whisk together:<br />
</br></p>
<ul dir="ltr">
<li>9 eggs</li>
<li>1 1/2 cups of milk</li>
<li>2 tbsp of vanilla</li>
<li>1/2 tsp baking powder.</li>
</ul>
<p></br><br />
3. Arrange slices of bread on a baking sheet, pour the mixture over the bread, turning them to make sure they&#8217;re fully coated.<br />
</br><br />
4. Cover and refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.</p></blockquote>
<p></br></p>
<p>Then, in the morning:<br />
</br></p>
<blockquote><p>Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Arrange the slices in a baking dish and cover with frozen fruit, and sprinkle with more cinnamon and sugar.  Bake for 20-25 minutes.</p></blockquote>

<li>1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats (not quick oats)</li>
<li>1 cup vegan milk (soy, almond, coconut, hemp)</li>
<li>1 teaspoon chia seeds (optional)</li>
<li>1 handful fresh fruit sliced into bite-sized pieces</li>
<li>Drizzle of maple syrup or agave nectar</li>

Here is another one of my favorite &#8220;overnight oatmeal&#8221; recipes that only takes 5 minutes to make in the evening before heading for bed. When you get up in the morning, it&#8217;s ready to eat so you&#8217;ll have a delicious and nutritious breakfast.<br />

The basic ingredients for overnight oatmeal are:<br />

<li id="zlrecipe-ingredient-2" class="ingredient">1 tbsp chia seeds</li>
<li id="zlrecipe-ingredient-3" class="ingredient">¼ cup Greek yogurt</li>
<li id="zlrecipe-ingredient-4" class="ingredient">¼ cup almond milk (soy, hemp, rice or dairy work, too)</li>

Here is another one of my favorite &#8220;overnight oatmeal&#8221; recipes that only takes about 5 minutes to make in the evening before heading for bed. When you get up in the morning, it&#8217;s ready to eat so you&#8217;ll have a delicious and nutritious breakfast.<br />

The basic ingredients for the basic overnight oatmeal are:<br />

If you love carrot cake like I do, then you&#8217;ll love this healthy &#8220;overnight oats&#8221; breakfast recipe with cinnamon, nutmeg and veggies. You&#8217;ll undoubtedly get some strange reactions if you share this idea with family and friends, but as soon as they taste it they&#8217;ll call you a genius.<br />

It is easy to make in less than 10 minutes, and is a lot like eating a carrot cake dessert for breakfast!<br />
Note that this recipe for 2 or 3 servings is gluten-free (depending on the oats you choose) and only needs to soak for a couple of hours.</p>
<p></br><br />
Here&#8217;s what you need to make this breakfast delight:<br />
</br><br />
<em><strong>Carrot Cake Overnight Oats</strong></em><br />
</br></p>
<blockquote><p><strong>Ingredients:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
1 cup gluten free oats</p>
<li>
1 cup of milk of your choice (rice, oat or coconut milk are good options to keep keep it nut free and dairy free)
</li>
<li>
1 large carrot, peeled and grated
</li>
<li>
1 tsp cinnamon
</li>
<li>
1 tsp mixed spice
</li>
<li>
1/2 tsp nutmeg
</li>
<li>
1 large banana, mashed</p></blockquote>
</li>
</ul>

<p>After mixing all of these ingredients together, just store overnight in an airtight container in the fridge.<br />

This is a yummy breakfast to prepare the night before and let it soak overnight in the fridge so it&#8217;s ready for breakfast in the morning.<br />

Start with the basic directions:<br />

<ol>
<li>Add oats, milk, yogurt, and chia seeds to jar, along with desired sweeteners or flavors:
<ul>
<li>1/4 cup uncooked old fashioned rolled oats</li>
<li>1/3 cup skim milk</li>
<li>1/4 cup low-fat Greek yogurt</li>
<li>1-1/2 teaspoons dried chia seeds</li>
</ul>
<p></br></li>
<li>Put a lid on the jar and shake to combine.</li>
</ol>

<p>Here are the <strong><em>special ingredients</em></strong> for the Raspberry Vanilla version:<br />

This is an <strong>Overnight Chocolate Chia Oats</strong><em> breakfast bowl recipe that&#8217;s designed to be a healthy, dairy-free meal to satisfy early morning chocolate cravings. It is based on rolled oats with cocoa powder, a healthy dose of chia seeds, and full-fat coconut milk for a rich texture. The chocolatey taste is awesome!<br />

If this all sounds too rich for breakfast, then you can always enjoy this for a snack or dessert!<br />

<blockquote><p>The easiest way to make it is to double or triple the recipe and pour into small jars for a quick and easy portable breakfast option in the mornings, but it can also be served hot so that you can still enjoy it on those chilly winter mornings.</p></blockquote>
<p>Ingredients for <em><strong>Overnight Chocolate Chia Oats</strong></em> (serves 2):<br />

<li>2 Tbsp raw cacao powder</li>
<li>2 Tbsp sweetner (raw honey, coconut sugar, maple syrup), optional</li>

<li>3 Tbsp chia seeds</li>
<li>1.5 cups full-fat coconut milk</li>
