<p>All these ingredients are very high in antioxidants, vitamins and essential nutrients making this smoothie very detoxifying. Here are 6 facts about Avocados that most people don&#8217;t know (yet). Avocados are, of course, popular as the main ingredient in <strong><em>guacamole dip</em></strong> &#8212; and most people already know that avocados are good for you because they contain <strong>healthy fats</strong> and lots of healthy <strong>nutrients</strong>.<br />

Most avocado-lovers don&#8217;t realize that an avocado is a <em><strong>berry fruit</strong></em>, and not a vegetable. It&#8217;s actually the matured ovary of an avocado flower comprised of a tough outer skin covering the flesh of the fruit which is essentially a casing round a large seed in the middle.<br />

One of the major nutrients in an avocado is <em><strong>potassium</strong></em>. In fact:</p>
