No need to go to Starbucks when you follow&nbsp;this creative recipe from Angela to make this addictive <strong><em>Pumpkin Spice Latte</em></strong> at home. Actually there are two recipes: first to make <em><strong>Salted Pumpkin Spice Syrup,</strong></em> and then to make a cup of <em><strong>expresso</strong></em> with the Salted Pumpkin Spice Syrup as one of the key ingredients. You can do all of this in 10 minutes.</p>
<p><em>This recipe is vegan, gluten-free, grain-free, oil-free, refined sugar-free and soy-free.</em></p>
<p>Here are the ingredients you&#8217;ll need to make 3/4 cup of the special <em><strong>Salted Pumpkin Spice Syrup:</strong></em><br />

<li>1/2 cup coconut sugar</li>
<li>1/2 cup pure maple syrup</li>
<li>1/3 cup unsweetened pumpkin purée (see <em>Tip</em>)</li>
<li>1 teaspoon cinnamon</li>
<li>1/2 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg</li>
<li>1/4 teaspoon ground cloves</li>
<li>1/4 teaspoon pink Himalayan sea salt or other fine sea salt, or to taste</li>
<li>1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla bean powder or 1 vanilla bean, seeded or 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract</li>

Eugenie shows how to make this special Sweet Potato Latte drink in a short video. Perfect in the morning or as an afternoon treat! It&#8217;s an easy-to-make and healthy drink that may be new to you, but it&#8217;s extremely popular in Korea and has an amazing delicious and addictive flavor.<br />

For each serving, she uses the following ingredients:</p>
<blockquote>
<ul>
<li>1/2 sweet potatoes, cooked, peeled, diced (100 grams/ 3.5 oz)</li>
<li>1 tablespoon walnuts</li>
<li>1 cup milk**</li>
<li>1 tablespoon acacia honey</li>
</ul>
</blockquote>
<p>**Try substituting<em> coconut cream</em> or <em>soy milk</em> if you want to make this non-dairy.</p>
<p>Optional toppings:</p>

<li>Milk foam</li>
<li>Chopped walnuts</li>
<li>Ground cinnamon</li>

<p>Here are the simple steps to make an awesome, delicious <strong>Sweet Potato Latte:</strong></p>
<ol>

<li>First, heat 1 cup of milk. Today I’m microwaving it for 1 minute and 30 seconds. And you can do this over stove top. Just simmer, don’t boil.</li>
<p></br></p>
<li>In a blender, add ½ of a sweet potato, cooked, peeled, and diced, 1 tablespoon of walnuts, and 1 tablespoon of acacia honey. Adjust the amount of honey to your liking.  Then pour in 1 cup of hot milk. And blend until homogeneous.</li>
<p></br></p>
<li>Pour in a warm mug cup.</li>
<p></br></p>
<li>Top with milk foam. And if you want, dust with ground cinnamon and decorate with chopped walnuts.</li>

<li>Sweeten to taste.</li>

And this no-bake recipe is quick and easy to make!<br />

The concept of pumpkin and coffee together generate mixed reactions, but the spices typically associated with both work amazingly to produce an amazingly delicious result. In this recipe one of the bonuses is having no sugar and fat overload.<br />

<blockquote><p>For those of you who aren’t a fan of coffee or adding coffee in your snacks, you can simply omit the espresso powder/instant coffee granules! You’ll just be left with delicious pumpkin bars!<br />

Depending on your texture preference, these bars can either be soft and chewy (ridiculously fudge like!) or firmer and slightly dense (like a chewy granola bar!). These protein packed bars are based around wholesome ingredients &#8230; Coconut flour, monk fruit sweetener (a granulated stevia blend which doesn’t leave a bitter after taste in your mouth!) and of course, a scoop of two of protein powder (tested, as always, with this vegan protein powder, this casein protein powder and this paleo protein powder).
