Then on the inside a biscuit&nbsp;should be soft and flaky and moist enough to absorb a pat of butter! <p>Note that an <em>American</em> <em>biscuit</em> should not be confused with a <em>British</em> <em>biscuit</em> (essentially a cookie).<br />
